Swiss Chard Chips
- 1 pound of Swiss chard, washed and thoroughly dried
- 1-2 tablespoons olive oil
- Sesame seeds
- Sea salt
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F.
Wash leaves and dry them thoroughly. ( Make sure they are completely dry, otherwise the leaves will steam and not crisp up! ). Remove the ribs from the Swiss chards and split in half.
In a bowl, add the oil to the sides of it and then add the leaves (this makes sure they are evenly coated). Then, coat them lightly they should not drip oil. Add the sesame seeds to the sides and make sure all they leaves have seeds (don’t worry the seeds will stick to the oil)
Spread leaves on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and season with sea salt ( make sure the leaves are not sticking together or on top of each other otherwise they won’t crisp up)
